Mike Green, Butler – Like jelly and Graves is the peanut butter, good alone better together.

Brandon Cotton, UDM – Best scorer in the league.

J’Nathan Bullock, CSU – Protoype Horizon League forward who can score and rebound.

Mike Schachtner, UWGB – Incredible shooter starting to become the total package.

Top Five Impact Newcomers

Torre Johnson, UWM – Proved his talent in the Big12 should be outstanding the Horizon.

Justin Cerasoli, Loyola, - Running out of time to live up to high school hype, has perfect opportunity now.

George Tandy, CSU – If the Vikes turn it around this season he’ll be a big part of it.

Rahmon Fletcher, UWGB – A freshman PG on a veteran team expected to contend.  Good Luck!

Matt Howard, Butler – A freshman that will see significant minutes on a team expecting to be in the Top 25.

Five Guys I’d like to see partake in a half court shot contest

Samuel Haanpaa, Valpo – Routinely shoots from about there already.

A.J. Graves, Butler – Just tell him the game is on the line and it’s good.

Eric Schiele, CSU – One HS coach said he’d shoot from the restroom, halfcourt is closer.

Pete Campbell, Butler – As long as he’s open and it stops an opponent’s scoring run he’ll hit it.

Josh Mayo, UIC – I just want to see if a fight breaks out on the bench when he takes the ill-advised shot.

Top Five in need of a breakout season

Ryan Tillema, UWGB – Highly touted recruit has been pedestrian in two seasons for the Phoenix.

J.R. Blount, Loyola – It’s your team now, let’s see what you can do.

Robert Bush, UIC – Has the ability, can he put it all together.

Jack Liles, YSU – Has size and skill to star in Horizon League, will it ever happen?

Justin Sample, UDM – Pressure is already on the sophomore to be the next Ryvon Covile.
