Big Joe’s Horizon League Dream Team

PG - Ryan Evanochko, UWGB – Doesn’t turn it over, played on a winner, can create.
SG – Quin Humphrey, YSU – Excellent mid-range jumper, super strength, great scorer.
SF – Blake Schilb, LU – Can score, pass, shoot and rebound.
PF – Leon Young, LU – Fierce rebounder that would excel with size around him
C/F – Jordan Pleiman – Under-rated big man can score inside and rebounds well.

Bench
G – Brandon Cotton, UDM – Best scorer in the league provides instant offense.
G – Majak Kou, LU – Superb defender and streaky shooter provides spark.
G – Othyus Jeffers, UIC – Super strong G/F can mix it up with the best of them.
G – DaShaun Wood, WSU – Smart player, excellent defender, can create own shot.
F – J’Nathan Bullock, CSU – Football player’s body and mentality.
F – Mike Schachtner, UWGB – At 6’9” can stretch defenses with his shooting touch.
F/C Ryvon Covile, UDM – Coming off injury, but twice named to all-defensive team.

Head Coach – Jim Whitesell, LU – Turned a 9-win team into a 19-win team in two years.

Asst. Coach – Todd Lickliter, BU – Can get the most out of anyone, excellent game plans.

Asst. Coach – Jimmy Collins, UIC – First rate recruiter can attract talent to school along an Interstate.

Asst. Coach – Perry Watson, UDM – Can strut the sidelines better than anyone and knows it.

Director of Basketball Operations – Joel Cornette, BU – Might be able to sneak him into important conference games.
